Check egg groups before waiting for an egg

Egg groups are the first compatibility check. They are separate from elemental types and appearance. If the selected parents share no egg group, change the pair before adjusting nests or waiting for a timer.

Four checks before breeding

  1. The parents need at least one shared egg group.
  2. Most pairings require one male and one female, with the target female chosen first.
  3. Event, boss, and special forms may have additional restrictions.
  4. Place the two nests next to each other and check spirit status and the breeding timer.

How to use the result

A shared egg group only confirms basic compatibility. Gender, nest placement, spirit status, and current game rules still matter.

Once you receive an egg, use egg prediction for height and weight. The matcher answers whether parents can pair; prediction helps identify an existing egg.
